Drr posters

Ignorance is a requirement, but not an excuse.

Digital

I found myself at a major creative block, with assignment ideas refusing to come. My solution is usually to just try and find inspiration, leading to wasting tons of time just looking at random images until I feel “ready”, but I wanted to try something different. Instead, I took inspiration from the Scarfolk Council website and decided to make a couple of bizarre public service posters.

Both are made to look like something you’d find at different periods of time in some kind of bizarre dystopian madhouse; Have You Seen this Poster is 60’s or 70’s, with Chinchilla being more of a modern industrial warning poster.

Each poster was made in an hour and a half, not counting the logo. The logo is based on designs from the Nixon Admin, where they attempted to rebrand various entities with more modern, slick logos… the fact that the Department of Regulatory Regulations acronym is “drr” is a total accident, of course.
