This was a four layer screenprint using a halftone image. It was made for a project that came right around Halloween, so it seemed natural to use everyone’s favorite dancing clown (I used the newer Pennywise simply because it was easier to find a suitable image for my design with him.) The radiating color burst in the back was kept very subtle to avoid interfering with the legibility of the design, and I made a conscious choice to add Stranger Things style framing to the bottom words to help solidify the popular horror theme.
