This class project’s goal was to create a typographic piece using a quote. After looking over the options, I didn’t find any that quite suited me, so I went to one of my favorite villains of all time: Mr Nobody from Doom Patrol. Looking over multiple quotes from my favorite Dada-ist supervillain, I found one that had a clear cadence and rhythm that I knew I could recreate using type and layout.

Using spacing, outlines, and font size/weight I made this piece read exactly how I feel it would be spoken by a pompously crazy villain, with all the stresses and pauses built right in.
